Searching for a new employment opportunity?
Check out some of the resources available in the Dane County region.
Conceived by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County and the Madison Area Builders Association—and powered by partnerships with area organizations such as WRTP | BIG STEP—the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center aims to train and connect a new generation of young people to the skilled trades.
A first-of-its-kind project for the Boys and Girls Club organization, the center will serve as a national template - preparing young people in Dane County for quality, family-sustaining jobs at a time when the skilled trades are facing a labor shortage.
This 2-week training program, Sep 5th to 14th at the Urban League is designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to excel in a career as a caregiver or (CNA) with Agrace Hospice.
See tinyurl.com/Agrace2023 to register for a screening interview to discuss how this training aligns with your goals. Contact jsanders@ulgm.org for help navigating the enrollment process and answering any questions you may have about the program.
